Full job description

Position Title: Supply Chain Executive

Department: Supply Chain and Logistics.

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager and Head of Supply Chain.

Salary: Negotiable

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliability and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels at factory to prevent stock outs and overstocking.
• Oversee the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time without causing any damage.
• Maintain a Damage Claim register, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up of any goods damaged during transportation or storage
• Validate and check E-Way Bills on a daily basis to ensure compliance with regulations and timely processing of shipments.
• Collaborate with transporters and distribution teams to plan and coordinate deliveries.
• Prepare and present supply chain performance reports to senior management on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, production and finance) to align supply chain activities such as dispatch schedule.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain (e.g., disruptions, delays, supplier issues).
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders and follow up on their timely execution.
• May sometimes require working outside of regular business hours to meet tight deadlines or manage urgent issues.
• Full-time, office-based with occasional travel required for supplier visits, warehouses.
• Any other miscellaneous works which may come on time from the seniors.

Key Skills Required

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and documentation.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement . FRESHERS are welcome.
